The Gombe State Police Command has detained nine individuals for various crimes including armed robbery, theft, and criminal conspiracy.
ASP Abdullahi Buhari, speaking on behalf of the Commissioner of Police, Hayatu Usman, detailed that the suspects were linked to several offenses, including a robbery at the Nigerian Christian Fellowship Corper lodge and the residence of former Commissioner of Agriculture Muhammad Gettado.
Recovered items include laptops, mobile phones, and ATM cards, among others. Buhari mentioned that while five suspects remain at large, the police are actively searching for them and remain committed to ensuring safety and security in the state.
