The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has directed the immediate repatriation of Zimbabwean cleric Mr. Eben Nhiwatawi for breaching immigration laws.
Mr. Nhiwatawi, who entered Nigeria on August 21 with a Tourist Visa (F5A), was detained in Yola, Adamawa on August 24 for participating in a Methodist Church leadership election, which contravenes the visa’s intended use.
The NIS emphasized that adherence to visa regulations is crucial and will enforce compliance strictly.
