In Zamfara State, Nigeria, 160 police personnel have been promoted as part of efforts to enhance their morale in the fight against insecurity.
The promotions were announced by Zamfara State Commissioner of Police, Mohammed Dalijan, who emphasized that the new ranks come with heightened responsibilities and expectations.
The promotions include 84 Assistant Superintendents of Police II (ASP II) elevated to Assistant Superintendent of Police I (ASP I) and 76 Inspectors promoted to ASP II. Dalijan urged the officers to improve their performance and adopt better crime-fighting strategies to meet the new challenges.
