The Jigawa State Government has suspended Auwalu Sankara, the Commissioner for Special Duties, amid allegations of an affair with a married woman in an uncompleted building.
The suspension was announced by the Secretary to the State Government, Bala Ibrahim, and is intended to allow for a thorough investigation into the claims made by the Kano State Hisbah.
Governor Umar A. Namadi emphasized the importance of transparency and integrity in governance, stating that the suspension is a precautionary measure to uphold public trust and ensure accountability.
