In response to the recent murder of Sam Onobraekpeya in Delta State, Police Commissioner CP Olufemi Abaniwonda has issued a directive for the arrest of Hon. Ejiro Eruteyan Eredajaye, the interim chairman of Adagbrasa Ugolo community, who is currently at large.
According to Police Public Relations Officer SP Bright Edafe, the murder resulted from a dispute over a truck-load of sand between the deceased and the chairman.
After a physical altercation, the chairman sought medical treatment at a hospital but was later reported by the deceased’s brother to have returned with thugs to attack and kill Onobraekpeya. CP Abaniwonda’s directive mandates the apprehension of the chairman and any others involved in the incident.
