The police have heightened security around Imo State and federal secretariats in response to a threat from the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB).
Commissioner of Police, CP Aboki Danjuma, deployed officers to strategic locations to protect these sites. Following his visit to reassure civil servants of their safety, CP Danjuma emphasized the readiness and enhanced security measures being implemented.
The State Head of Service, Raymond Ucheoma, praised the proactive measures, noting that they have helped boost worker confidence.
