Dennis Amachree, a retired assistant director of the State Security Service (SSS), called for further investigations into the memo supposedly originated from the Nigeria Customs Service over alleged regrouping of terrorists around Abuja has continued to generate heated reactions and which has already gone viral on social media.
Amachree faulted the memo noting that it was not properly addressed and classified but he still maintains that the memo should not be entirely ignored although the source of the memo is still unascertained.
The former security chief also said it is important for all the security agencies to synergize for effective security.
Recall that the Defence Headquarters through its spokesperson John Enenche following the security alert assured residents of FCT and other surrounding states that plans have been put in place to stop any attack.
He said citizens to go about their businesses without fear as they are on top of the situation as always.
