Unknown Gunmen Kill Lawmaker, Abduct His Wives And Child

Honourable Musa Mante, member representing Dass constituency in the Bauchi State House of Assembly has been killed by  gunmen who also abducted his two wives and a year-old-daughter according to news reports.

The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Ahmed Wakili confirmed the incident to newsmen that the lawmaker was murdered around 2 am by gunmen in his residence at Baraza, Dass Local Government Area of the state.
Wakili also explained that the police has intensified efforts to rescue the victims and arrest perpetrators.
It was gathered that the deceased corpse was deposited Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital, Bauchi, and will be buried later today according to Islamic religious rites.
