The Executive Chairman of the Benue State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Grace Adagba, recently inspected Early Childhood Care and Development Education (ECCDE) centers in Makurdi Local Government Area.
The visits, which started on Thursday, aimed to prepare these centers for the upcoming school term and emphasized the importance of starting lessons on the first day of school.
Adagba urged head teachers to be proactive in promoting their schools and reminded them of their responsibilities, including working even during vacations. She also visited the Makurdi Local Government Education Authority and Zonal Office, stressing the need for dedication from the staff.
Mr. Bartholomew Atsar, Headteacher of LGEA Primary School Wurukum, appreciated the improved teacher welfare and committed to enhancing the quality of basic education in the state.
