Rotary club honours’ provost FCMLST Prof. Nkereuwem Etukudoh with service award.

The Rotary Club of Abak Metropolis honored Professor Nkereuwem Sunday Etukudoh with a Humanitarian Award on August 10, 2024.

The award recognized Prof. Etukudoh’s significant contributions to society through his role as Provost and Chief Executive Officer of the Federal College of Medical Laboratory Science and Technology in Jos, Nigeria.

Rotary International, a global network dedicated to humanitarian service and world peace, awarded Prof. Etukudoh for his efforts in societal upliftment and development. His extensive work includes alleviating poverty, advocating for youth employment, and supporting small businesses to drive economic growth.

The award ceremony occurred at the Independent Hall beside Abak Local Government Headquarters, Akwa Ibom state, coinciding with the investiture of Rotary Club Metropolis’s 13th President, Rotarian Mkpouto Ibanga.

In his acceptance speech, Prof. Etukudoh pledged to continue his philanthropic activities, focusing on job creation, supporting unemployed graduates and touching lives.
