In Kano State, 76 individuals, including a foreigner, were arrested for flying Russian flags during recent EndBadGovernance protests.
The protesters, who called for military rule and criticized the current administration, were moved to Abuja for further investigation on sedition charges.
Kano’s Commissioner of Police, Salman Garba, reported that the police had arrested 873 people in total, recovered numerous items, and prosecuted 150 suspects for curfew violations.
