After being reassured by the medics attending to their kid Bronny’s unexpected cardiac arrest, NBA superstar LeBron James and his wife Savannah are “relieved and optimistic.”
Following the incident on Monday morning during a training session at USC’s Galen Center, the 18-year-old guard was taken directly to the hospital. Bronny was unconscious when he was taken to the intensive care unit at Cedars Sinai Medical Center, as was initially reported by TMZ.
The fact that he is now stable and has been taken out of intensive care seems to be encouraging the James family.
Currently, insiders tell TMZ, Bronny has been the subject of good news. His parents are supposedly both more composed. They have been encouraged by the fact that even though they are both still curious about what caused the terrible cardiac arrest.
Why a healthy adolescent like Bronny would experience a cardiac episode is still a mystery.
After it was earlier claimed that Lakers star James is “scared and devastated” by the shocking news, LeBron was seen on Tuesday making his way to the hospital.
A 911 call was placed at 9:26am on Monday, and Bronny was taken directly to the hospital in an ambulance.
The incident is thought to have been a Code 3, a dangerous call that necessitates ambulance lights and sirens.
The James family released the following statement on Tuesday: “Bronny James experienced a heart arrest yesterday while practicing. Bronny was able to receive medical attention and be transported to the hospital. He is presently stable and out of the intensive care unit.
‘We ask for respect and privacy for the James family and we will update the media when there is more information.
‘LeBron and Savannah wish to publicly send their deepest thanks and appreciation to the USC medical and athletic staff for their incredible work and dedication to the safety of their athletes.’
