Denmark recently unveiled visa opportunities for various skilled professionals in response to the country’s labor shortages across multiple sectors.
The Danish government has introduced entry provisions for welders, bricklayers, mechanics, teachers, and other skilled workers to address the pressing labor scarcity.
The Danish Agency for International Recruitment and Integration (SIRI) specified the necessity for 72 highly educated individuals and 38 highly skilled personnel to fill diverse roles within the country.
Apart from these skilled roles, Denmark has identified additional areas with workforce demands, including scientists, engineers, medical professionals, educators, economists, IT specialists, architects, pharmacists, accountants, as well as positions in insurance, sales, management, customs, real estate, and medical administration.
The country also seeks professionals in fields such as landscape gardening, precision mechanics, electrical work, and cabinet making.
Denmark has been revising its immigration regulations to attract talent, facilitating this by expanding the work permit fast-track scheme and lowering the minimum salary requirements.
