Israeli airstrikes on their home resulted in the death of the leader of Hamas’ security forces and many members of his family as Israel persisted in its campaign to ‘destroy’ the terrorist organization.
The IDF continued to strike hundreds of targets throughout the enclave, including command centers and tunnel shafts, according to a Hamas-aligned news source, including Jehad Mheisen, a major official inside Hamas.
Israel has declared that it is striking Hamas terrorists in Gaza from all angles, referring to them as “dead men walking,” and accusing the organization’s leaders and members of hiding out among civilians.
However, Israel has persisted in destroying entire neighborhoods throughout the heavily populated zone with its savage attacks, creating a trail of death and damage.
Today, the brutal bombardment pounded locations across the Gaza Strip, including parts of the south that Israel had declared ‘safe zones’.
Thousands of homes have been demolished throughout the 25-mile enclave, 3,785 Palestinians have been murdered, including 1,524 children, in the nearly two weeks after Israel started its aerial bombardment in retaliation to a horrific strike by Hamas militants that claimed 1,300 lives.
The bombardments today took place only a few hours after Israel consented to allow Egypt to reopen its northern border with Gaza in order to allow vitally needed humanitarian aid to reach the war-torn region.
More than 200 trucks and over 3,000 tons of aid are currently waiting to be delivered to the millions of residents imprisoned in Gaza amid savage Israeli bombardment at the Rafah crossing, the territory’s only route to Egypt.
But under the deal agreed by Egypt after intense talks with President Joe Biden yesterday, only 20 trucks with humanitarian aid will be allowed into the enclave from Friday at the earliest amid fears that Hamas will confiscate the supplies or use the deliveries as cover to bring in more weapons.
If Hamas terrorists do try to stop the much-needed aid from reaching Palestinian civilians, ‘it will stop’, President Biden said during his visit to Tel Aviv where he met Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
