This ambitious initiative includes focusing on areas such as diabetes, sight, pediatric cancer, hunger alleviation, environmental services, youths, disaster, and humanitarian aid. Anyanwu emphasized their commitment to serving with love and respect, highlighting the importance of gaining people’s confidence through ongoing service efforts. He acknowledged the challenges of the centenary service challenge but expressed confidence in the Lions’ capability to excel and make a significant impact on the less fortunate. He stressed that beyond immediate needs like food and shelter, Lions provide hope for a better future.

Furthermore, Anyanwu, who has been elected as the multiple council chairman for the 2024/2025 lion’s year, also commended the unbiased conduct of the election officers during the convention’s leadership elections. He challenged Nigeria’s electoral body to emulate the transparency and credibility of the Lions Club’s electoral processes.

Overall, the Lions Club’s renewed commitment aims to significantly enhance its humanitarian efforts, benefiting millions globally across various critical areas.
