Violent Protests Spread Across the UK, Clashes With Police Reported

Newsie Events:–

The unrest and violence that have erupted in various parts of the United Kingdom continued into Monday night.

Police officers faced attacks in Belfast, Darlington, and Plymouth as they tried to control the situation.

According to BBC News, at least six people were arrested in Plymouth, and several officers sustained minor injuries during the clashes.

In South Belfast, protesters hurled stones and petrol bombs at riot police near a supermarket that had been set ablaze over the weekend.

The unrest was sparked by a vigil held earlier for the victims of a mass stabbing in Southport last week.

Since the riots began, around 400 people have been arrested by security forces.
