Atiku Abubakar, along with key political figures such as ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo, former Governor Liyel Imoke, and Senator Aminu Tambuwal, held a closed-door meeting in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The details of their discussions haven’t been revealed yet, but it’s likely related to opposition efforts to form a united front against the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
Notably, this follows a recent meeting between Atiku and former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi, suggesting strategic planning within opposition ranks.
