He shared his application to the international organisation a few hours later. No date or location has been announced yet.
Adebiyi has his sights set on Suresh Joachim’s (Sri Lanka) current Guiness World Record of 121 hours and 18 minutes.
On December 13, 2015, he set the record while competing in a pop-up movie theater with other 10 contestants in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Other persons besides the 10 contenders were there for some of the attempt because the movies were apparently streamed and the theater was accessible to the public.
Adedamilola Adeparusi and her assistant, Jeremiah Adegoke, are currently attempting to set a world record for the longest cooking marathon in Ilupeju, Ekiti. Adebiyi is the latest Nigerian to attempt to break this record.
