The Chairman/Chief Executive Officer, AA Enamos Nigeria Limited, Mr. Enobong Okon on Sunday reiterated his commitment to father some responsibilitie in the society within his reach to encourage source of livelihood especially for the middle class.
Pharm. Okon who was accompanied by entourage from his cooperation was received by the Ministers of Blessed Covenant Church, National Headquarters, Atai Otoro in Abak Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom state to donate some skill acquisition materials to some deserving apprentices.
Addressing the congregation, Mr. Enobong Okon said he decided to worship in the Church to celebrate Father’s Day and to also redeem the promise he made during the thanksgiving service in honour of Late Deaconess Agnes Okon Tom whose remains were interred few weeks ago.
The Chairman AA Enamos Nigeria Limited expressed gratitude to God for keeping members of the Church alive and healthy to celebrate the 2024 Father’s Day and thanked the Church for giving the late Deaconess Agnes Okon Tom a befitting burial.
He called on the church to always encourage the widows, the less privileged and the needy in the society.
Mr. Okon donated a brand new glass-cutting machine, sewing machine, awarded scholarship from primary to tertiary institution to two pupils and also donated cash in support of the day’s church programme.
The AA Enamos Chairman explained that the institution the scholarship and the donation was his own little way of honouring the departed woman leader of the church, Late Deaconess Agnes Okon Tom.
The items including, sewing machine, grass cutting machine and also awarded scholarship to some children.
Receiving the Items, the beneficiaries, expressed gratitude to God for using Mr. Enobong Okon to touch their lives.
They prayed for God’s abundant blessing upon him and his family.
Responding on behalf of the Church, the National President, Apostle Noah Mathias, extolled the exemplary qualities of Mr. Enobong Okon, stressing that he has used his position to touch many lives positively as well as contributing to the growth of the church and development of his community.
Apostle Mathias assured Mr. Okon that the Church will continue to pray for him and his family, while calling on the beneficiaries to make proper use of the items.
Highpoint of the visit was offering the prayers by all the priesthood for Mr. Enobong Okon.
