Afam Osigwe has been sworn in as the 32nd President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) in Lagos.
He succeeds Yakubu Maikyau, SAN, whose term has concluded. In his inaugural address, Osigwe emphasized accountability for federal and state governments and extended a collaborative gesture to his election opponents, Tobenna Erojikwe and Chukwukwa Ikwazom.
He pledged to lead an inclusive NBA, fostering unity and progress within the association. The inauguration concludes the NBA’s annual general conference, which began on August 23rd.
