Afenifere, a prominent Pan-Yoruba group, has expressed deep concern over the state of Nigeria under President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
In a recent communique, Afenifere highlighted severe issues including widespread hardship, insecurity, inflation, and unemployment.
They criticized the government for what they see as reckless spending, such as the purchase and retrofitting of a $100 million Airbus A330 jet for the President and extravagant costs for vehicles, renovations, and religious subsidies.
The group lamented the administration’s perceived lack of foresight and its negative impact on Nigeria’s global image, calling on the Federal Government to address these problems urgently.
