A’Ibom Nat’l assembly members condole Gov. Eno over wife’s death

Members of the 10th National Assembly from Akwa Ibom State visited Governor Umo Eno to express their condolences following the death of his wife, Pastor Patience Umo Eno, who served as First Lady.

The delegation, led by Senator Ekong Sampson, PDP Caucus Leader in the National Assembly, and Rep. Unyime Idem, House of Representatives Caucus Leader, conveyed their profound sadness over the sudden loss. They noted that Pastor Patience Eno was deeply committed to the state’s advancement through her initiative, Golden Initiative For All (GIFA), and described her as an extraordinary individual whose contributions and support for the Governor’s vision will be remembered.

In their message, the legislators emphasized her compassion and dedication to the welfare of Akwa Ibom people, offering prayers for strength and comfort for the Governor and his family.

Governor Eno expressed gratitude for the visit, finding solace in the impactful life his late wife led. He encouraged unity among the people as a way to honor her legacy, highlighting her embodiment of peace and togetherness.
