The Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) is advocating for heightened grassroots awareness of the rule of law.
At a National Summit in Abuja, ALGON’s National President, Aminu Maifata, represented by Hassan Aminu Jauro, emphasized the importance of increasing awareness of criminal justice access, anti-corruption measures, and public accountability.
He also highlighted the need for collaboration with agencies like the EFCC and ICPC to enhance governance and service delivery.
The summit, themed “Building Resilient Fiscal Framework: A Collaborative Approach,” focused on developing a robust fiscal framework through stakeholder synergy for effective governance.
