The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has summoned the seven-member caretaker committee for Benue State to address their recent decision to dissolve the party’s local government structure.
The NWC issued a warning, reminding the committee of their defined responsibilities, which include administering the party for six months and organizing upcoming local government elections, but not altering existing party structures.
The Deputy National Women Leader, Hajia Zainab Ibrahim, emphasized that the committee must adhere strictly to their terms of reference and avoid overstepping their mandate.
