Ibadan – Children of Light impact church and the community at large, celebrated children’s day with a retreat organised by Banke Armstrong Bello ministry and partners under the distinction of the church.
The retreat tagged; “As arrows ” featured activities such as Bible games, Bible study, musical presentations as well as presentation of gifts at the church national headquarters located at Harry Akando crescent orita challenge, Ibadan, Oyo state.
Parents, members of the community and some members of the church, expressed gratitude and happy that the church had come up with such an event.
According to them, it afforded the children the opportunity to celebrate the day in a spiritual environment.
Some members of the church and participants who interacted with Newsieevents, said the retreat was organised to create an opportunity for children to have fun while learning about Christian teachings, salvation and entrust their lives to God.
Dominion Martis, a child at the retreat, said she had a nice time and would be happy to come for the next retreat.
“My mommy brought me here to have fun with my friends and I am happy because I had fun and got a gift.
“I want to come for the next one so I can have fun with my friends again in the house of God.
Motunrayo Esther a member of the church, told Newsieevents that it was important to immerse children in religious events because it helped in moulding their characters.
“I had to bring my children here today because I know the importance of immersing children in spirituality and religious events.
“Giving your children a strong religious foundation will help mould their characters and morals.
“Such children events are good and I urge churches to do more of this and encourage their members to participate,” Motunrayo said.

Children gave their lives to Christ and were baptized in the Holy spirit. Looking forward to children bible school in August”
