Benue State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stakeholders have emphasized the need for unity and reconciliation within the party. At a press conference in Makurdi, they urged party members to prioritize collective goals over individual or group interests.
Dr. Laher Dzever, who read the statement, highlighted the importance of magnanimity in victory and acceptance of electoral outcomes by all members. The stakeholders called for adherence to the party’s constitution and dispute resolution procedures, advising against publicizing internal conflicts or pursuing legal action before exhausting internal channels.
They also encouraged members to focus on preserving the party’s image and preparing for future elections.
