Boko Haram: Northern Governors Should Focus On Resolving The Bloodshed In The North – Shehu Sani
Newsie Events:-
Former Senator that represented Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani, has on Thursday asked the government not to make the former deputy governor of central bank CBN, Obadiah Mailafia the scapegoat due to his revelations on Boko Haram.
Rather, he urged Northern governors to focus on resolving the bloodshed in the Northern part of the country.
He made this call via his verified twitter handle where he wrote;
“Mailafiya should not be used as a scapegoat or distraction. Northern Governors should focus their attention on finding solutions to the bloodshed and violence consuming and demonizing the region.”
Recall that Obadiah, a former presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, made many revelations when during a radio interview. His alleged revelations include that Boko Haram was plotting civil war in Nigeria in 2022.
Again, that Boko Haram was headed by a Northern governor.
According to the former presidential candidate, a repentant Boko Haram Commander told him that the insurgents were in the Southern part of the country and were plotting in preparation to execute their plan.
Obadiah also claimed that the terrorists planned to invade and kill prominent Nigerians in their residence in urban cities.
