Delta State’s former governor and ex-PDP vice presidential candidate, Ifeanyi Okowa, has officially joined the All Progressives Congress (APC). The announcement was made Wednesday following a meeting at the Delta State Government House in Asaba.
Speaking to assembled well-wishers in his native tongue prior to the declaration, Okowa assured his supporters that he had chosen a course that would best serve their interests. “Rest assured, we will not stray from the right path. We will choose the route that offers the greatest benefit for our people,” he affirmed.
