His Royal Highness Prince Edun Akenzua, The Enogie of Obazuwa in Ovia north local government area of Edo state, has said that persons opposed to the reelection of Governor Godwin Obaseki, have not been able to show a tenable reason for their decision.
While receiving Governor Obaseki, who paid him a courtesy visit in his palace, August 25, the traditional ruler said Governor Obaseki deserves a second term in office.
“Some people have said that they do not want you to come back, sadly, none of them has come to tell us what the governor has not done, what he should have done or tell us what he shouldn’t have done that he did. So, we are very happy with him.
“Since you came into office, almost four years ago, we, the Enigies in Ovia North East local government area are particularly happy with your government.”
Prince Akenzua recounted the achievement of Obaseki across the various sectors of the state.
He also prayed for the ancestors and gods of the land to grant the government victory in the forthcoming gubernatorial election.
