- flags off another 3-Bedroom bungalow Project at Abagana

It was a moment of joy when Senator Uche Ekwunife project team arrived Ezi-Achalla village Abagana, Njikoka Council Area to flag-off the construction of 3-Bedroom bungalow being sponsored by the Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Uche Ekwunife for an indigent downtrodden in the community, Mr Uchenna Ufoaroh .
The 3-Bedroom Bungalow flagoff, which is the second project flag-off ceremony of the Senator on Monday July 5th, is among her housing projects which targets helpless indigent widows, handicapped and the less privileged who are in need of a roof over their heads in communities across the district..
Addressing the excited crowd while flagging off the the would-be edifice, Ekwunife being represented by the Director Projects and former commissioner for women affairs, Lady Harrieta Agbata stated that her motivation for embarking on such selfless projects is in fulfillment of her promise to God that she would provide succor to helpless and downtrodden in the society to ameliorate their plight. She noted she came to Abagana to fulfill her duty to God by flagging off the house to yet another of her constituents, stating that as a Senator, she would always lobby that which will enhance the livelihoods of her people.
The beneficiary, Uchenna Ufoaroh who couldn’t contain his joy, gave glory to God for the gift of Ekwunife. He noted that he has lost hope and never knew he could behold such benevolence gesture in his lifetime but Senator Ekwunife made it possible for him. Uchenna maintained that it is hoped that Ekwunife’s goodwill and effective representation will signpost a new beginning in a quest to build a society where all representatives will share love and care for one another, saying that going by her antecedents, Senator Ekwunife will in the years ahead continue to assist the poor through her selfless representation, and as she continues to do so, posterity will judge her favourably.
The mother to the beneciary, Mrs Josephine Ufoaroh eulogized Ekwunife saying that the posterity will forever be kind to her for assuaging their plights.
Earlier on a courtesy visit to the traditional ruler of Abagana, Igwe Gerald Mbamalu Okeke, he described Ekwunife as a woman of excellence who does not relent in delivering the dividends of democracy to her people at all times. Igwe Mbamalu maintained that the replica of Ekwunife in the polity is what the society wants and prayed God to continue to bless her.
