Ex Kogi state deputy speaker Hon. Enema Paul passed on in Abuja hospital.

The former Deputy Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Enema Paul, has passed away in the early hours of Saturday at a private hospital in Abuja, following an undisclosed illness. Hon. Paul, who represented Okura State Constituency in the 8th Assembly, had stepped down from his role as Deputy Speaker due to health reasons, and was succeeded by Hon. Comfort Ojoma Nwuchiola, representing Ibaji State Constituency.

The Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Aliyu Umar Yusuf, expressed his condolences to the family of the late lawmaker. In a statement, he described Hon. Paul as a humble, committed, and temperate individual who worked towards unity and pro-people legislation for the development of Kogi State. The Speaker also praised Hon. Paul for his strong Christian faith and unwavering commitment to family values. He prayed for strength for the family and members of the Assembly during this difficult time.
