The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, has outlined plans to enhance street lighting in Abuja through a solar power initiative.
During a signing ceremony with China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) and China Geo-Engineering Corporation Overseas Construction (CGCOC), Wike emphasized the project’s significance, marking Abuja’s 50th anniversary next year.
He expressed a desire for the city to match other global capitals in terms of infrastructure. Wike also acknowledged the companies’ contributions to the Abuja Metro line and urged for the project’s prompt completion. Both CCECC and CGCOC representatives pledged to deliver high-quality and timely results.
