A fire has engulfed the Federal Institute of Industrial Research (FIIRO) office in Oshodi, Lagos, near Cappa Bus Stop, around midnight on Christmas Day.
As of Thursday morning, rescue operations continued with the involvement of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service and the Lagos State Emergency Management Authority (LASEMA).
No casualties have been reported, but the fire has caused significant property damage, reportedly worth millions of naira. Efforts are ongoing to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading to nearby offices and buildings.
