The Nigerian Federal Government has announced an eight-week closure of the Eko Bridge and its ramps for essential asphalt resurfacing, starting September 20. Federal Controller of Works, Mrs. Olukorede Kesha, indicated that the work aims to enhance road safety and improve the driving experience.
Motorists are advised to use alternate routes, such as the service lane at Alaka to connect to Costain. The project will involve milling existing asphalt and relaying new materials to address wear and tear, ensuring a smoother roadway.
