The UN has initiated air drops of food to assist areas in Borno, Nigeria, that are currently isolated due to severe flooding.
This response is part of a broader effort to address the humanitarian crisis caused by the flooding.
In addition to the food drops, the UN has pledged $6 million in support to help manage the situation and provide relief to those affected.
