Kola Ologbodiyan, the former National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has stated that the involvement of Nyesom Wike, the current Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, in the governance of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is contributing to the potential collapse of the PDP.
Ologbodiyan believes that Wike’s association with the APC is part of broader efforts to reduce the PDP to a mere branch or arm of the APC. He emphasized that these developments are part of a larger struggle within the PDP, which is currently facing a leadership crisis.
Ologbodiyan made these remarks during an appearance on Arise Television’s Morning Show, where he reaffirmed the official position of the PDP, as represented by the party’s substantive National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba.
He also expressed his alignment with the party’s stance on internal leadership matters, particularly regarding the recognition of Sunday Ude Okoye as the rightful party leader, in accordance with party constitution.
