Former Aide to Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri has lampooned on President Buhari over his statement, blaming past presidents on the woes Nigeria is presently facing.
President Buhari in his Independence Day message to Nigerians placed the blames squarely on the Nigerian leaders that piloted its affairs from the time of this present democratic dispensation. Although he never mentioned anyone, the past presidents include former President Olusegun Obasanjo 1999 – 2007, late Umaru Yar’Adua (2007 to 2010), and Goodluck Jonathan (2010 to 2015).
He said, ” Those in the previous governments from 1999-2015 who presided over the near destruction of the country have now the impudence to attempt to criticize our efforts.”
Omokri in a swift reaction, furiously lambasted president Buhari, reminding him that president Obasanjo paid off the entire foreign debt of Nigeria. He questioned Buhari’s achievements and pointed it out to him that “President Jonathan revived the railway sector in 5 of the 6 six zones of Nigeria, built the Abuja-Kaduna super-fast railway, made us the biggest economy in Africa and the world’s 3rd fastest-growing economy. What have you achieved? Under you, Nigeria became the world headquarters for extreme poverty.!”

“General Buhari, you are a useless idiot! An ignoramus. A disgrace to the uniform of the Nigerian Army. A dunce. A bloodthirsty buffoon for saying this.
