Gov. Eno offer new appointment, contracts to PDP chairmanshp candidate, 8 councilors after losing to APC candidate in Akpabio’s LGA.

Pastor Umo Eno, the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, has offered contracts and appointments to candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Essien Udim after their recent loss in the local government elections to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

In a meeting at the Government House in Uyo, the Chairmanship candidate, Engr. Enobong Patrick, was offered a contract, while the Vice Chairmanship candidate is set to be appointed as a Special Assistant to the Governor.

Additionally, seven councillorship candidates, who also lost to the APC, will be appointed as Personal Assistants. Key officials, including the Secretary to the State Government and the Commissioner for Local Government, attended the meeting.
