Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State has dismissed rumors about his alliance with Senate President Godswill Akpabio leading to a defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Speaking during a media event in Uyo, Eno emphasized that his collaboration with Akpabio is focused on attracting development to the state, not on party politics.
He highlighted the importance of distinguishing between party affiliations and governance, asserting his commitment to the PDP and the ongoing election campaign.
Eno called for voters to evaluate the state’s progress and the efforts being made across local governments, reiterating that he is fully dedicated to supporting the PDP.
