The Transparency and Accountability Network (TAN) has issued a strong statement condemning any political ambitions that could destabilize Kaduna State.

They emphasized the fragile peace the state has recently begun to experience and warned against individuals who may prioritize their power over the well-being of the people.

The group pointed to the political conflict between former Governor Mallam Nasir El-Rufai and his successor, Senator Uba Sani, as a potential threat to the peace.

TAN called on the National Security Adviser (NSA) to act decisively to prevent the state from falling back into chaos. They reminded political leaders and community figures that the people of Kaduna deserve peace and dignity, and that power should never be sought through violence or division.

The group urged all to reject the temptation to exploit the state’s vulnerable situation for political gain and to focus on the safety and well-being of its citizens.
