…set to lunch lagelu palm oil estate, vocational training center & security network team

The executive chairman Lagelu local government area of Oyo state Hon. Mudashiru Kamorudeen has assured that his administration will not reverse from his policy documents agenda to transform Lagelu LGA in the next three years.
The newly sworn in council chairman stated this during an interview with Newsieevents and some journalist in his office yesterday that he will change the narrative of the area under his regime.
He said his blueprint is to strategize lagelu to an economic independent environment without being answerable or influence by the state and federal government funds.
Hon. Mudashiru said administration will work assiduously towards improving the IGR of the area through agriculture and other internal generated revenues without putting pressure and hardship on the people.
He said “we have already started implementing what I drafted on my blueprint and what we do is to encourage small scale business of our people and we have been able to raise about 3 million naira to support those under entrepreneurship from zero-shift loan through a committee that we set-up”
Again in the next two weeks, we will launched what we called Lagelu palm oil estate and from all indications palm oil estate you can only heard in Edo state in the entire country, so we will work on that and launch which certainly will not only generate IGA to the council but create massive employment opportunities.
In the area of youths empowerment scheme, Hon. Kamorudeen who is also the immediate past secretary transition committee of the area, said modalities have been put in place to officially open vocational training center in his 100 days in office.
” In the vocational training the youths will undergo skill acquisition in any field of their endeavors after which we will work to setup small and medium enterprise for them depending on their training and specialisation.
We are also coming up with security network committee because we noticed a lot of foreigners lives in lagelu LGA so we are going to set up a security network that will take charge of security in the looks and crannies of the local government area”
We will also partner with the ministry of commerce and industry to see how we can develop some factories in the council headquarters and will also be another avenue to empower our people.
On the issue of electricity, the council helmsman said, even though electricity is not inclusive on the list of the local government area but his administration will continue to persuade the state and federal government for intervention of what the people are going through.
Kamorudeen officially thank the governor Engr. Oluwaseyi Makinde for awarding and aproving roads construction in lagelu local government. He stressed that his administration as executive chairman will continue to partner with the governor as father and son relationship to attract more dividends of democracy to the area.
