Imo council poll: Gov. Uzodinma says no anointed candidate for him.

The Imo State Government has denied reports that Governor Hope Uzodinma has endorsed certain candidates for the upcoming September 21 council elections.

According to Ambrose Nwaogwugwu, SSA to the governor on Electronic Media, these claims are false and misleading. He clarified that the governor has neither publicly nor privately endorsed any candidates and has not released any list of endorsed aspirants. Instead, Governor Uzodinma has encouraged all candidates to seek votes directly from the electorate without waiting for personal endorsements.

The government urges the public to disregard the false information and focus on the candidates’ qualifications.
