The newly appointed Immigration Service Controller in Jigawa State, Mr. Tahir Musa Abdullahi, has pledged to strengthen border security and combat illegal migration. In a statement after assuming office, he emphasized his commitment to promoting ethics and transparency within the state’s Immigration Service. He outlined the importance of collaborating with other security agencies to secure borders and prevent cross-border crimes, including smuggling, human trafficking, and illegal migration.
Mr. Musa stressed the need for cooperation with stakeholders and the public to gather vital information for maintaining national security, peace, and stability. He urged his team to prepare for more rigorous and ethical operations, reinforcing the goal of ensuring a secure environment for both Jigawa State and Nigeria at large.
