Former Governor of Anambra State, Willie Obiano, whose tenure elapsed on the March 16, has been arrested by the anti-graft agency, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.
It was gathered that Obiano was on his way to Houston, Texas in the United States when he was arrested.
Recall that last November, the EFCC had placed Obiano on a watch-list.
It had requested that the Nigeria Immigration Service gives inform anytime the former governor was travelling out of the country from any of the international airports, as well as other points of entry and exit.
