Light Impact Church has celebrated its 14th anniversary with a grand thanksgiving service, reflecting on its journey of faith and growth. The week-long event, themed “It Is Written”, taken from Matthew 4:4, commenced on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at the church’s national headquarters in Harry Akande Estate, Orita Challenge, Ibadan, Oyo State.
The celebration featured renowned guest ministers, including Pastor Olugbenga Peters and Pastor Olufemi Olutayo-Salawu, alongside other esteemed men and women of God who ministered on different days of the program.
The grand finale, held on Sunday, March 9, witnessed a gathering of gospel ministers and senior pastors from various denominations, culminating in a series of activities to mark the milestone.
In his testimony, the founder and senior pastor of Light Impact Church, Pastor Taiwo Bello, alongside his wife, Dr. Banke Bello, recalled the early challenges faced by the ministry. He revealed that skeptics once predicted the church would not last beyond five years.
“Light Impact Church was given five years to exist,” Pastor Bello recounted, emphasizing the necessity of thanksgiving, considering the trials, responsibilities, and victories the church has experienced over the years. Taking his message from John 12:9 and Psalm 51:11, he highlighted how God has continually upheld the ministry.
The General Overseer noted that, despite challenges, the church has witnessed divine blessings and continuous miracles. He further announced that Light Impact Church has moved from a rented hall to its permanent site, currently under construction, attributing the progress to God’s grace.
The grand finale featured a variety of activities, including drama presentations by the children’s department, choir ministrations, TMML dance performances, an extended marathon praise session, testimonies from congregants, and the cutting of the anniversary cake.
The event was a testament to the church’s journey of faith and growth, as members and guests came together to celebrate 14 years of divine impact and expansion.
