Lions international club is poise to service – Lion Ano Anyanwu

The Lions Club International has promised to triple its delivery of service to humanity and restoring dignity, to meet the Club’s centenary goals which includes diabetes, sight, pediatric cancer, hunger alleviation, environmental services, youths, disaster and humanitarian service.

This was disclosed by the immediate past district governor district 404A1 Lion (Ochiagha) Ano Anyanwu PMJF, NLCF in the just concluded lions international multiple district 404 Nigeria, 17 convention and 60th anniversary tagged Oke-badan 2024 at Jogor event center.

We are here to serve with Love and Respect and we will continue to render services to the people’s confidence. Lion Anyanwu stated this while interacting with newsieevents editor in the just concluded 4-day multiple district convention with the theme, bonding to serve. He said the centenary service challenge is an ambitious undertaking. In other to reach our goal of serving 100 million people in the areas of youth, vision, hunger and the environment, it will be necessary to triple our output of services in these areas. Lions have continually shown willingness and ability to excel in challenges when it means other less fortunate people will benefit.

The tradition of service has grown to meet the needs of communities and a changing world. We don’t just provide food, shelter or address the immediate needs, we provide hope and a promise of a brighter tomorrow.”

Lion Anyanwu who has just been elected the multiple council chairman for the 2024/2025 lion’s year while explaining the activities of the Club’s to newsieevents also extolled the unbiased effort of the electoral officers that anchored the affairs of the election to elect leaders of each district in the country, Anyanwu describe the conduct of the election as credible, challenging Nigeria’s electoral empire to imitate the footprint of Lions club conduct of election.
