Nyesom Wike, the Federal Capital Territory Minister, has announced his commitment to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), despite facing internal challenges.
At a media event marking his first year in office, Wike emphasized his determination to stay with the PDP and address the injustices he perceives within the party, rather than defecting to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He expressed his dedication to the responsibilities entrusted to him by President Bola Tinubu and vowed to fight for the rights of PDP members.
Wike’s stance is notable given his previous conflicts with key figures in the PDP, including former presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar and Rivers State Governor Sim Fubara.
