Ndigbo knocks northern group for kicking against the release of Nnamdi kanu

By Divine Sam

Ohanaeze Ndigbo has condemned the Coalition of Northern Groups (CNG) for claiming that Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), does not deserve freedom.

Ohanaeze argues that if former President Muhammadu Buhari could release Boko Haram terrorists through a rehabilitation program, it is inconsistent for the current administration under President Bola Tinubu not to release Kanu.

The organization views the CNG’s statements as part of a calculated effort to destabilize the country and to provoke division, particularly targeting the Igbo community.

It emphasizes the need for unity, peace, and understanding among Nigeria’s diverse ethnic groups.
