The North Central APC Forum has sharply criticized Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule for endorsing Abdullahi Ganduje as the party’s national chairman.
They accuse Sule of prioritizing personal gain over regional and party interests. According to the Forum’s chairman, Saleh Zazzaga, this endorsement contradicts the North Central’s push to regain the chairmanship, which should follow the resignation of Abdullahi Adamu.
Zazzaga claims Sule’s actions reflect poorly on his commitment to the APC and its ideologies, pointing to Sule’s past lack of support for President Tinubu and his underwhelming performance in Nasarawa State.
The Forum has called for other North Central governors to distance themselves from Sule’s endorsement, criticizing his motivations and the potential legal and strategic consequences of Ganduje’s leadership.
