NSF condemns murder of sokoto chieftain by bandits after collection of ransom.

The Northern Senators’ Forum (NSF) has strongly condemned the murder of Alhaji Isa Muhammad Bawa, the Sarkin Gobir of Gatawa District in Sokoto State, who was killed by bandits after a ransom of N60 million was paid.

The Forum expressed deep sympathy to the deceased’s family and urged security agencies to apprehend those responsible for the crime.

Senator Abdul Aziz Musa Yar’adua, the NSF Chairman, emphasized the importance of protecting traditional rulers and vowed to intensify efforts to combat terrorism and ensure justice. He also reassured the public that security forces are actively working to dismantle terrorist groups in the Northern States and prevent further violence.
